Have an old 70's Chubasco hull...airpocket keeps filling up when rainwater enters cockpit....can I fix this by closing up the semicircular cut-out areas at the ends of the daggerboard mount? Am aware that I probably have some serious rot on my hands, just trying to squeeze a few more years out of the boat...
