HI fellow record collectors,
As a Hendrix fan and a serious record collector I have a question I'm hoping someone out there can answer for me. I have seen a few Mono copies of Axis Bold as Love sell over the years on the tri-color Reprise label & ALL are Canadian pressings. I have only seen one pressing that I thought was an American mono pressing and it was on the two tone orange and tan Reprise label which was normally a second press for the American stereo copy of Axis. Can anyone verify WHICH is an American first pressing of Axis for sure? Goldmines 4th addition days it is the Tri-Color label and their 5th addition says it is on the tan and orange label....I know that these price guides are out dated but these are the only one's I have reference to.
