HELLO. Our Somerville ancestry has been traced to a family who once resided in or around your town. Back "then" the head of the family was a Samuel Semmeril, whose name was spelled in several different ways when the family migrated to Pennsylvania, U.S.A. back in 1790.
Are there still people by "that name" living in your town or have they also changed the spelling of the name to Somerville?
We'd like to clear up some of this "mess" so that we may go on with our research.
