I am trying to go back to school this fall. i enrolled at LACC online as well as I filled out an application for financial aid
to receive $ so i can study full time. I was so excited in the beginning of this process. Now, i am not so sure....I attended another college many years ago. I dropped out from that school due to working. Now I am suspended from getting a financial aid because of that. I had to fill out an application for reinstatement. I had to go and wait in an hour line just to turn in this application. Now i have to wait 30 days or even more for the approval. Then if i am approved, i have to wait another 3 to 4 weeks for financial aid to kick in! This whole process is so tiring especially when a person works 50 to 60 hours per week. There is not even a way to make an appt to see a counselor to set an educational goal....
It is not that easy to go back to school for those of you that are thinking of doing it. But it is worth every minute.
