I purchased a Fuso FG84 4WD to tow my 2.5tonne caravan around Australia. As I wanted a reliable vehicle to get me around in all terrain I settled on a new Fuso 4WD. Well to cut a long story short the gearbox failed on me at 91000ks and the warranty expired 15 months before. I would have expected a truck like this to go more than 91000ks before a major breakdown of this sort.I am a retired truckie and have treated this truck like a good woman. It has had all it's scheduled services done on time at Fuso dealers/agents.I contacted Fuso and they don't want know me. Other brands have done whats called "out of warranty considerations" but no, not this mob. They stuck their heads in the sand and as good as told me to pi$% off. So much for after sales service. BEWARE.... buy from Fuso at your peril. I am now out of pocket just on $10,000.00.
