For the last few months we have had a beautiful Red Shouldered Hawk flying from tree to tree in our Sonoma neighborhood. He/She is all alone and talks every morning (loudly) from sun up to sun down. He/She moves from our property to the next and back and forth. Is this normal behavior and if so, is it looking for a mate or calling out to mark his/her territory?

I've become accustomed to the sound, but I certainly don't need an alarm clock any longer.
