I got a degree in chemistry from the U of I in Champaign in February, 1961. I started working at Curtiss Candy Co. in Chicago that February. In the fall of 1962 I enrolled in a course in physical chemistry at Roosevelt. I had not done well in that course at the U of I. My instructor was Nathan Yagol, a very good teacher who helped me a lot in that subject. I received an A in the course and enrolled in the next physical chemistry course in January , 1963. I had to withdraw from the course when I moved to Danville, IL and a position as a chemical engineer at Teepak, Inc. I really enjoyed my time at Roosevelt. From what I have read Roosevelt has continued to be a progressive institute of learning. I took early retirement in 1996. Arthur Dale
