Does anyone know how to stop sodium metasilicate(andro) turning into a gel form? in the making of a liquid dettergent i start with caustic then stpp them my metasilicate all is great until i come to lower my ph with citric acid. it starts to gel at around 9-10!

any help would be greatly appreciated!
