Does anybody remember the 1440 instructions for the 1442? I know M%G1xxxR was "read a card." Was M%G1xxxW "punch a card?" How was column binary I/O done? How about stacker control?

I'm pretty sure M%Y1xxxW was "print a line." How about carriage control?

The IBM 1440 reference manual A24-3116 doesn't answer these questions.
