Does Mr. Momaday travel much? Does he visit different cities to particiate in literary events? I am in a small city called Muscatine, Iowa. I have been hosting different literary events. I am a member of Writers on the Avenue, a local writer's group, and we hope to host many more events. The University of Iowa is not far and we have had guest speakers from there. James A. McPherson was our first back in April 2011 and Doctor Fredrick Woodard, most recently, in September. I have begun the planning for a story teller event in April 2012. Since Mr. Momaday is one of my favorite writers, I thought of him right away. I wonder if it is possible for him to attend? I have no idea how far he would have to travel. Our group and town is small, but we can accomodate one night stay.
