I have many favorite songs and singers. But every now and then, as I am driving along, a song comes on that almost makes me drive right off the road when I really listen to it and get the meaning. Songs like that are so much more than good! Many Rich Mullins songs have hit me that hard. When I ask someone who has heard some Rich Mullins songs if they like him and they say, "Yeah he's good", (in a casual way, like they would say about any other singer they like), I feel like they don't really get Rich or me. This may sound silly, but I feel like people who really get Rich Mullins are the type of people I could be closest friends with. Does anyone else out there feel like they could be best understood by the type of people that really connect with the songs of Rich Mullins?
