As the book's translator and editor, I claim that "Soul's Infarct" is indeed literary , literature paired with photography. What do you think?

This is one of my favorite books of all time! I'm so thrilled to find a translation at last! There is some wonderful work (in Spanish) in response to this book that firmly situates it in a context of experimental literature. An amazing collaborative effort by Eltit and Errazuriz, I challenge anyone to tell me what it is, if not literature? I first encountered this work in a Contemporary Chilean Literature class at the Universidad Catolica while studying in Chile. I find it absurd to say the least, that anyone who has read the work would question its status as literature. Thank you for translating this! I just ordered my copy today!
