Our grand-father named Saleh Mba-Fumu(Wa Jumbe Fumu). His name as it appears on his passport is Saleh Mba-Fumu Ali Said and not Salim/Salum but Said. My brother who saw another document on our grandfather says its not Salim/Salum but Said. Thus, the name for my grandfather should read as Saleh Mba-Fumu Ali Said Ali. We are still looking for more information on the continuous of the name as to wether it is Mba-Fumu Ali Said Ali (Ibn Hussein/Husan) or (bin Said Omar). The story from my grandmother Maryam wa Mshangama includes and always talked about The Sultan Tibe who was the paramount ruler; Sultan Tibe is knows as Fumu wa Kori Dozi. My grandmother also talked about and especially Mhaza wa Kaleheza who was married off to Mussa Fumu after her capture. This lady she has quite a history as told by my grandmother. Fumus were the famous rulers, and were the ones who ruled the most all over the Comoros Islands.
