Dear,
I wish to state that i am a pondicherrian(french colony-inde).My grandfather born in pondicherry in 1907(french colony)and my father born in pondicherry in 1937 (french colony).I was born in 1969 in pondicherry.please inform me whether i am eligible for french nationality.I have the birth certificate for all.

Your father was major at the time of option on 1962. What about your mother where/when she born and where/when your parents married? If your mother born other then French-India , if your parents marriage had been held before 14th August 1962 and if the marriage was duly registered at concern Municipality or commune Panjayat office at the same month, your mother have a chance to register as a French national and after that the children of the couples who else born after 1962 could get the nationality

I am glad to see your reply,thank u so much.soory for the delay due to problem in hot mail connectivity.Actually during august 1962,my father was studing agricluture degree(1960 to 1964) in coimabatore(tamilnadu-inde)with pondicherry government scholorship , with a condition that he has to serve in pondicherry government for five years, after completion his degree.He was not in position to give option due of fear of cancellation his scholarship from the government.
Regarding his marriage it was in 1964 and my mother from tamilnadu.
