Dear Sir/Madam, I'm doctor Win Mo Mo at Pun Hlaing Hospital,Yangon, Myanmar.Relative of Mr.Win Bo Soe,39 year old design engineer who is in Intensive Care Unit of St.George Hospital.On 20.9.09 he was collapsed due to extensive intracranial haemorrhage from rupture of ?Arterio-Venous Malformation.He was on ventilator.The ICU doctor said to me that keeping on the ventilator on coma patientfor prolong period is unethical.He wants to off the ventilator after 2 days.But Sunday & many official works cause delay to get VISA.In Myanmar,the relatives want to arrive the seriously ill patient before he or she is dead so that he or she may go to next life peacefully without hesitation & passion to relatives.Win Bo Soe is supporting his family& he is the only son of his mother,Daw Khin Win Kyi ,widow.Her husband died last year & she took treatment with psychiatrist due to depression.I request all the doctors as well as adminstrative board not to off the ventilator until his mother & his sister arrive & see him.PLEASE DON'T OFF THE VENTILATOR UNTIL HIS FAMILY ARRIVE.Thank you all the doctors & nurses for their kindness & excellent care.Bye.
