Mr Doherty states in a couple of places that mankind, according to isolationist theory, "crossed the threshold into civilisation" a few centurries before Christ. Doesn't he mean a few millenia? There were many civilisations that rose and fell long before a few centuries befor Christ: Assyrian, Persian, Babylonian, Egyptian, to name just a few. The Judahite House of david and Israelite Kingdom of the Omrides were historically at least 1,000 years before.
