Our family has always claimed relations to robert e lee, but I can't find the actual connection, my great, great, great, great, great grandfather was john lee, married to either a sarah jane brazill, or sarah ward, does anyone have any information about this family line?

Hi there! I'm in the same situation with the Lee family. My great great grandfather was Alexander Lee, his father was Roland Lee...and that's where I get stuck with the Sarah Jane/Sarah Ward problem. Have you had any leads?
