I was attending a high school football game the other night and heard the ref call back a touchdown with this call which was weird cause I had never heard it called before. They called it aiding the runner, the team was on the 2 yard line and jumped the pile and scored. What the heck kinda of call is that?
The second was the team was on the 17 yard line quarterback throws to a young receiver in the inzone. The defensive player grabbed his right arm. The reciver starts to fall backwards catches the ball one handed and falls back into the inzone. He was fall due to the defensive player yanking on the arm which took out his balance. It was ruled a touchdown for like 5 minutes. Then it comes across the intercom, the TD was taken back due to offensive pass interfearance. Ok somebody explain to me what this and the other call is all about? Was there actual reason for either call.
