Does anyone know anything about a shooting that occurred on the gounds of a church in Coryell or Lampasas County TX sometime during the 1900's? It involved a feud over "lane" rights between two farmers and a shootout occurred at a church when the two groups ended up there on the same Sunday. My uncle who was a young boy and his family were visiting relatives and my uncle remembered being at a church and getting underneath a wagon when gunfire broke out on the church grounds. Anyone know anything about this or where I can get more info?
