There are 1495 colleges in the Philippines. There are more colleges here (19 colleges/million Filipinos) than in the U.S. (10 colleges/million Americans. No doubt many of these
provide substandard quality of education.
PRC nor CHED provide NO standard for colleges to reach or achieve.
Perhaps the members can help organize a credible group of
retired educators to set up a COLLEGE RANKING SYSTEM. This
alone can provide a strong initiative for schools to raise
the quality of education they provide. This will also be useful for millions of students and parents in choosing
the best schools among the mediocre ones.
These COLLEGE RANKING is common feature the world over.
