The information provided that Clanton 14 during the 1960s was a Chicanos only gang is not true. There were Caucasians as "huero," and "Jett," etc. Asians as "Buddha," "John," etc. About20% were not of Chicano origin, also had Puerto-Ricans, a Filipino, etc. I was involved and was "jumped in" nd I just finished a book, entitled: "C 14 The Inside Story Of One Of The Oldest And Largest Youth Gangs in Los Angeles." I am now an Attorney at Law practicing lawin Los Angeles, and I was a court-appointed attorney for Eastlake Juvenile Court. The book covers C 14, mostly between 1966-1976. Ron Sugarman.
