This is a bit of a disappointing revival of the musical... although there are some redeeming features I do like the ensamble pieces the way they can dance and play their instruments is truely amazing.. my gripe is with the main castings... Freddie to me looks like a fish out of water most of the time.. his accent is all over the place and he can not act to save his life... I have had more emotion from small children in a nativity play.. yes he does a splendid job with the singing.. he does Pity the child enormously well .. but on the whole if they are to take this production to the west end as it seems the rumour is then they truely need to recast this role and a few of the other main parts as well.. the west end is a demanding theatrical mistress and second rate people who were on a reality tv show will not do at all
