We are hoping for the best. I think having camera at the roads would be another thing than having all the kotong cops at the street.

Perhaps that would be good for your country, but not for me. I don't think I would appreciate the inconvenience, nor would I enjoy the unwanted and unjustifiable attention. As an American, I would moon the camera and flip the bird to it.

Anyway, the reason I cam here and posted on your thread, sir, was because of my brother's Uzbeki widow. The silly web led me here looking for a site that had Tashkent Russians.

Your name reminds me of a friend's name with similar syntax. Perhaps you know the old (yes, he is one of the first) netizen Awalludin Ramlee from Maylasia? He has been known as Obmar for about 15 years on the net. He's a good man.

In many other countries now, you dont see many policeman in the street. Because, they are maximizing the technology by setting up cameras in strategic areas. You will see a police rushing to a scene of accident or places with high risk of any bad incident. Violations made by a driver is simply issued with a ticket where violators has to pay his dues to banks and postal areas. Its a big way to avoid corruption and at the same time the government is collecting revenues
