I know, seriously ! I mean I don't believe I would help kidnap a teacher for some cute guy. Especially since this can affect her future. She is a very smart girl in the story and she could probably do A LOT in her future but instead she jeopardizes it for some dumb guy.

Very true. She's so gullible. David asks her out on a date, and she instantly goes; not thinking about why he asked her. The date itself was coopl; going up to ht emountains and all. She shouldn't get involved with the kidnapping
