Yes you can but it probably won't fly. The aviation grade fuel that you would use would be 100LL which means 100 octane with low lead added. The lead is used for additional lubrication although does tend to cause carbon fouling. I had a vw that I Ran on 100LL all the time ran great and smelled good too!
