Can anyone tell me why the bolt on my model 70 243 has just started not extracting spent cartridges? The rifle has fired around 4000 rounds. Is this a common problem? What are my options of fixing this issue. Regards Mick243

Can anyone tell me why the bolt on my model 70 243 has just started not extracting spent cartridges? The rifle has fired around 4000 rounds. Is this a common problem? What are my options of fixing this issue.

Look at the extractor and see if it's broken. If this looks good is the cartridge getting stuck in the chamber and not coming out when the bolt it pulled back?
