Can anyone kindly remind me of the name of an in-vision continuity announcer at Southern in the 1960s and 70s, a contemporary of the late Brian Nissen. He had fair or blond hair, rather a fay manner and often wore check jackets that caused fringing effects when colour was introduced in 1969.

He was not present at Southern's final programme transmitted just before closedown in 1981 (when Southern had lost its franchise to TVS) when the station's newscasters and continuity announcers were arrayed at the end and the camera slowly panned across each line of the assembled crowd.
