Can anyone help, im just a real beginner, i got a tim of coopers lager which is (hopped malt concentrate) 1.7kg a sachet of brewing yeast 7gm. on the back it says mix tin, 1kg sugar and 2 litres boiling water, add 20 litres cold water mix add yeast cover and leave to ferment.

ok so when i read the instructions inside the tin its slightly more advanced...thats cool however i also brought a tin of bretec liquid brewing sugar (maize starch) 1kg.

my question is can i add this 1kg of brewing sugar to the original recipe in place of basic white sugar???

next question when it comes to priming (which i understand is adding a teaspoon of sugar to the bottle before i fill it with feremnted beer) instead of bottling it at this stage can i pour it all back into a primed sealed bucket? so that it is all carbonating in bulk or is there something about the individual bottles?

i just want real simple instructions im not planning on making it large scale i just want a play around and see what i can produce. all fun. so i dont want to get into, gravity and temperatures and all that, i have a warm room to leave it to ferment in and i just wanna bit of dierction for the other question.

ok thanks
