Brig. Gen. Krulak, USMC

Sir:
I'm seeking any information on orders given to the 8th Marine Engineers on 27Dec1990 by Gen. Krulak..."Do Not travel to Kibrit at night, the arab forces in the area will shoot at you."
Sir: I traveled to Kibrit on the night of 26Dec1990, via military convoy, and was injured by small arms fire by unknown unfriendlies as a result, while in the performance my duty as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Now, I am not able to find any written report made of this incedent.

Question: Was a verbal report of the attack on the military convoy (I was part of) on 26Dec1990, made to Gen. Krulak and part of the reason for the orders you gave to the Marine 8th Engineers before they mounted-out on the morning of 27Dec1990 for Kibrit?
