I live in southern Wisconsin and for the past 2 years we have had a pair of Bitterns nesting by a small creek a 1/4 mile form my home. This year they have moved to a group of Pine trees next to my garage. They have 4 chicks that are doing very good. My wife and I haven't seen there nest. The Chicks are out of the nest now and are about 8" inches in hieght. Norell
