Biohazardous Waste Disposal

At our biomedical waste treatment facility all transport vehicles, shipping containers and waste are weighed on certified scales. The containers are then off-loaded and the waste is placed into an autoclave unit. Once sterilized, the waste is transported to an approved landfill. In addition to biomedical waste disposal, UMI also provides proper destruction and disposal services for other waste items common to healthcare facilities, such as confidential documents and expired pharmaceuticals.
