I have many favorite songs and singers, but every now and then a song comes along that almost makes me drive off the road when I really listen to it and get the meaning. These songs are so much more than good. Many Rich Mullins songs have hit me that hard. This may sound silly, but when I ask people who have heard songs by Rich if they like his music, and they say yeah, (in a casual way, like he was just another good singer), I feel like they don't really get him, or me.
Does anyone else out there feel that way? Does anyone else think that they could be closer friends with someone who really gets Rich Mullins, than with people who don't?
