Attempting to help a volunteer fire dept with a 1937 Seagraves Pumper. I understand Seagraves equipment of the Era could haxe been fitted with a Pierce Arrow ehgine.

Our AACA club is trying to assist the Gaednerville, NV Volunteer fire Dept to recondition their 1937 Seageave Pumper Chassis plate, "Model 80.E.9 5serial 87325 date nine -- 30 -- 37". The engine is an 8 cyl make unknown, dual ignition, including Scintilla magneto. The flat head has the casting "SEAGRAVE", casting number 707568, casting number on midway on the drivers side crankcase half that ha a casting number 702747 also be the number "P dot.(or screw) 10 * 21. Can you tell me whether the engine is a Pierce Arrow
