Having read in a related passage that the above word is written on the Limnian stele with the same meaning as the
Turkish, I was dumfounded. Although it is clear that the Estrusians originated in Asia, I find it hard to believe that
they had connections with ancient Turkic tribes,or were even of Turkic stock themselves. As far as I know, no Turkish in any form goes back that far.

Your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
