As of September 2009, Arlington County's auxiliary police program was subject to two Americans With Disabilities Act complaints, one with Arlington County and the other with the US Department of Justice. The complaints allege that the program terminated an officer who had suffered a concussion for perceived disability, and failed to provide reasonable accomodation. Additionally, the complaints allege a failure to provide due process to the officer in question.
