Anyone out there know or have a reference for interpreting the engine number codes for a BMC C-Series engine?
I have found a great site that explains the codes for A-Series and B-Series engines, but nothing on C-Series.
Trying to identify an engine with serial number 29AW/PC/H19728. I know what "29" is (2900cc, actually 2912), and "H19728" (High compression engine with serial number 19728). Whatr about "AW" and "PC".
If anyone can respond, please do so directly to me since I probably won't be coming back to this site. Thanks very much.
