Anyone know the size of the projectile steel balls in a M-18 claymore mine? During my tour in Viet Nam, They tested the circuits of the mines about once a week. While walking back to the shop to get some tools, working on a M-117 armored personnel carrier, I noticed a Vietnamese with a small piece of equipment checking it. Then a huge explosion, white smoke billowed up in the air. I tried my best to reach the victim but he was outside of our perimeter and was to late for him. I was in the secondary hazard area, about 20 meters away. Anyway, after all these years I had no problems until I had a fall five months ago. The pain got worse over the months and I had xrays. They said I had a BB embedded in that area. So it must have moved to a bad spot. Appreciate any help from someone knows. Thanks
