Any ideas where I might find details of the career of Captain Max Dietrich who joined NDL in April 1901? In particular I am looking for voyages of the SS Grosser Kurfuerst between the end of 1910 and the outbreak of WW1 for which he was the Captain, and any stories of his escape from impoundment in the US at the outbreak of WW! and return voyage to Germany, possibly with the SS Brandenburg.
