Could someone please give me information regarding an antique FYR FYTER brand fire extinguisher?
Mine is labeled; FYR - FYTER "PUMP TANK" FOR FIRE. It has a brass fire hose end on a 26" black hose with a coil attachment to an 18" tall X 7" round cylinder body.
It has a foot pedal attachment at the base used to hold it down while the contents are being pumped out by hand, and a lid on top to refill the contents(??). It also has a pump handle on top.
**I am trying to locate any information at all about this extinguishers model, year, or History.** I am also interested in its value for insurance purposes.

There are a lot of old fire extinguishers about, sorry to say that as there is no real demand form them, they are not worth much.
