Chinese yuan

An elderly (101 years old) relative passed away recently and it fell to my wife and me to clean out her residence. Inside we found two Chinese bank notes issued by THE CENTRAL BANK OF CHINA. The first one for 500 yuan was issued in 1944 by the British American Bank Note Company Ltd. The note is bluish on one side; the obverse side is greenish and has a picture of a man I believe to be Chiang Kei-Sheck.

The second note, also issued on THE CENTRAL BANK OF CHINA by the Security Banknote Company, is for 100 yuan and reflects the year 1941. The note is grey or rose on one side and green on the other. Chiang's picture is on this note too. Both notes appear to be uncirculated, although the 500 note has my uncle's name penciled in on it and what appears to be "Kunming China June 1945." I would appreciate any help I can get regarding these notes and their value.

Thank you.
