After reading about the Jackson State riots and susequent murders of 2 men (5/14 & 5/15/70)on the college's campus, I noticed a memorial had been erected near the site of the tragedy. My question is in what year was the granite monument placed on the site? A year/date would help me in my research. Thank you, very much.
