The research and experience of many say YES - remove the nest and clean the box out after the fledge. Bluebirds prefer CLEAN nestboxes tho they will re-nest in some used nests. Cleaning the box with mild soap and water helps keep the parasites down. Bluebirds usually have 2 broods a year and unless the old nest is very clean, they may move off elsewhere.
