After a brief rain I observed in our vegetable garden in an area of approximately 8"X15" 6 hair-like "worms?" wiggling and stretching outward and inward and wrapping up a bit in a medium speed, but not moving forward. They are a light tannish color.

I have showed them to several gardeners, and no one has ever seen them before. Could they be immature earthworms?
