A string breaks under a tension of 10kg weight, if the string is used to revolve a body of mass 1.2kg in a horizontal circle of 50cm what is the maximum speed in m/s with which the body can be revolved?

10kg weight means string can tolerate 98N tension (W=mg=T). Same amount of centrifugal force it can provide while rotating 1.2kg mass.
i.e. mass times speed squared /r( I am taking 50cm) should be less than or equal to 98N.
Solving for speed one gets 6.39m/s or 639cm/s.
