I study chemistry so my mathematics and physics is a bit weak so i am unable to apply maths in this idea.

While studying spectrophotometry, I just wondered why electromagnetic radiations behave in such a way that shows that they carry energy in them and still they don’t possess any charge. Their linear velocity is constant in a specific medium and they interact with the matter. All these properties of EM radiations made me think on nature of light, and these thoughts just increased in number with time.
The most interesting idea that came in mind was that we can consider that light is made up small hollow rings having a spin and linear velocity, the spin of the ring generates the electromagnetic properties of the EM waves. But they should be paired in a way that magnetic field of one ring should be cancelled out by another ring adjacent to it. A pair of two rings, one having clockwise rotation and other having anti clockwise rotation together makes a single photon.

So any comments on this idea?

I have commented a lot in The Ultimate Fate of the Universe forum, and Is Time Travel Possible forum. At faster than light transmission speed a photon would have structure, but not otherwise. Hawking radiation from a black hole would be faster than light. If the 4.46 billion year half-life of U-238-92 is anchored to the time that nuclear fusion started in the Sun's core, this half life would slowly transmit energy much more energetic than visible light from the Sun's surface to Earth. Light does not show structure except at faster than light. The thorium, actinide, and uranium clocks would allow high energy radiation to escape from the center of the Sun to Earth directly by Hawking radiation; while ordinary photons must wait for thermal transport and cooling. High energy photons have a different structure than visible light, that allows energy transport by Hawking radiation from the core of the Sun directly to Earth. Actual black holes would establish the thorium clock.

I have seen some old science fiction movies like "The Forbidden Planet" which featured Robbie the Robot before he starred in the sitcom "Lost in Space."
