I was looking at different reports at Absolute Austronomy.com about Persistent vegetative state and Minimally conscious state. I am looking this all since last one year at different sites and I am sorry to say that this all shows that there is nothing to say by anybody exept the old theories.I have been reading that there is no recovery and there is no treatment for a PVS. I agree that there is actually no medicine which can help these patients but nature is there to do its work unless it is stopped by administring useless medicines with no results.
During the great experience of dealing a PVS my son Jawad Pasha since 2004 I waisted one and a half year at different hospitals and doctors in search of some treatment. Than I took the charge myself with stopping all sort of medicine exept at rare occasions for genral health problems. A rehab effort at home and at a hospital was the only treatment but me and my family tried our best. His younger brother Ubaid Pasha started to take him at any place out of city at every week end but unfortunately Ubaid Pasha was kidnapped for ransom and killed in 2007. He started smiling and laughing during those visits.
He is fully conscious now.Do you know what neurologests means by Persistent Vegetative state, that means a man like a vegetable permenently. Jawad Pasha is himself happy now a days.Perhaps he is feeling that he is doing better. We are enjoying his beautifull smile now many times a day.He is still without motor functions but I hope your prays can make it. Hope by grace of God he will soon regain his motor functions. Please keep praying for him and for Pakistan.
