5 months ago, sept. 2011 I was hospitalized due to excessive blood loss. I received 3 pints of blood. Hemoglobin at 6 grams/deciliter. Had a upper gi scan and a
prosectomy. Best guess was divirculitis caused bleeding.
Very expensive with no difinitive answer. Doctor said it was "just one of those things."
It is happening again and I wonder if there are any "blood thickeners" or drugs that might help this. Like something to
help coagulate the blood.
