1. I am very confused with this: Thrips florum is the cause of red rust and maturity staining on banana fruits?

2. I am from Philippines and in some banana plantations here are now experiencing red rust... It isa really true that thrips infesting banana fruits causing red rust are not yet here in the phils?

3. The environment would affect the life cycle of thrips? High temperature will strengthened the life cycle of it? Low temperature will shortened the life cycle of it?
