Conservation of energy

1. How does the conservation law apply to transient state of our universe. If energy cannot be created or destoyed, then where did it come from in the first place? And if the law does not hold true in some past time, does this not imply that at some time in the future more energy may be created in our universe and some destroyed?

2. Is our solar system a perpetual motion machine? ie... Is the work that can be done by gravity <-(only) continuous or will it fade away over time?

3. Over infinite time, is gravity the weaker force, or the strongest force in the universe?
